Welcome to the latest "Taking the Lead" newsletter. In this edition we have a bumper crop of customer stories, highlighting a wide variety of Greentree use across several industries. Thanks to all these companies for allowing us to share their story.

A big thanks also to all the customers who took the time to complete the recent online survey. The results are now back and, although we are yet to properly summarise the feedback, we did come across some very interesting facts whilst skimming over the answers.

To our surprise at least half of you weren't aware of the CBA loyalty rebate scheme in place and a further 70% weren't aware of our new continuous CBA upgrade and enhancement system. So we thought we'd take the opportunity in this newsletter to jog all your memories of all the great offers available to you (and so next time you can all score A+'s!)

What do you really think of us?

In order to dig deep down into quantitative and qualitative data, we have just undertaken and completed the most comprehensive survey ever of both the Greentree and CBA customers. In today's online world it has been an interesting challenge trying to contact you all to ensure we get a good response rate, it sure was tough work bypassing everybody's mail systems and spam filters!

So what's going to happen with all this good feedback?
Well firstly we will be processing and communicating the summarised results to everybody. Most importantly we will be using this information as critical input to our product and service offerings to help ensure we are really meeting both your needs and the markets'.

CBA loyalty rebate

In the recent survey we asked how many of you were aware of the loyalty discount when switching from CBA to Greentree of which to our dismay, 50% of you were unaware of.

To help you recall this great offer, Greentree International is offering a whopping 50% discount off the listed Greentree module price on the existing modules you own in CBA. This fantastic offer is only available to those CBA users up to date with their annual maintenance fees and the exact price will depend on the modules you require and number of concurrent user licenses you operate on.

New CBA Enhancements

Another big shock to us from the customer survey, was how few of you were aware of CBA's new dynamic enhancement system, in which you personally have an active part in the future of CBA. To our surprise only 30% of you were aware that you could vote on enhancements you'd like to see included in the product, and that this new continuous upgrade deployment was in place!

To refresh those memories of yours, all you simply need to do is visit the enhancement survey page on our website or by clicking here.

The successful enhancement candidates for this month are listed below and have just been released for you to all enjoy.
-Sales Analysis Reports: you are now able to turn off the option to update from transactions and simply run the reports.
-Special Pricing Copy: you are now able to easily copy prices from one customer to another. This copy will also be available to copy pricing for a stock code, stock category or customer type.
-Special Pricing Deletion: you are now able to easily delete prices for an individual customer, stock code, stock category or customer type.

Also, don't forget that you will need to already be on Version 11 to take advantage of these recently released enhancements. Talk to your CBA consultant to arrange getting these enhancements installed.

Customer Success Stories

Our customer success stories continue to be a huge hit, exposing customer's stories and their businesses to thousands of Greentree's business partners, technology partners, customers and the wider market. This month we're yet again showcasing six new stories, covering a wide range of industries and product use.

A new version of Stahmann Farm's success story talks about how Greentree's Quality Control module helped them to dramatically reduce enquiry times and promote better business practices. The other success stories cover Greentree's sophisticated Workflow, Foreign Currency, Job costing, our powerful reporting modules and how Greentree for Qlikview significantly increases immediate and long term business benefits for their customers.

Latest coverage on i-Start

Greentree has recently had strong coverage within NZ's iStart magazine, a primary resource for managers needing to improve their businesses. iStart have also recently ventured out into Australia and are getting some serious traction with over 22,000 readers in circulation figures. Published quarterly, the magazine has in-depth articles and reports, emerging trends, inspirational interviews and local case studies. The magazine covers all industries primarily focusing on the manufacturing, services, wholesale, retail and property sectors.

iStart's website is also a great tool promoting Greentree to both the NZ and Australian markets. The website acts as the main ICT Hub and allows companies to search for the latest solutions within their industry today. Greentree has its own pavilion on both websites, adding to our web marketing and further increasing awareness of the Greentree product.

CRM / SCM / BPM / FREE Updates

This month we show you exciting new updates, including a total makeover for the CRM module control form layout. We also show you other functions which have undergone enhancements and the new functions which are now available within FREE.

Payroll and HR

Based on user feedback we have added new features into payroll, further strengthening Greentree payroll as truly an ANZ compliant solution. We have added features such as the 'employee reducing balance deduction' function and updates to the termination wizard. Further in this issue, we highlight the FREE functions for HR which have recently been released.

'E' Module Enhancements

This new section includes updates for e-timesheets, e-approvals, and also new tips on reporting from e-modules.

eTimesheets per diems: A new feature has been added to eTimesheets to allow the capture of per diem’s. These refer to specific amounts of money that an organization allows an individual to spend per day, in order to cover living and travelling expenses in connection with work, while travelling away from home. This allows you to easily capture costs at a predefined rate for these normal daily expenses. >> Read more

Exchange.EDI goes beta

This new module is now into our formal beta program. The beta program is designed to provide a fast feedback loop from customers through to the development team. This allows for any early problems to be ironed out and also results in quickly satisfied customers, who are then willing to provide testimonials to support further sales.

The team at Greentree have been busy enhancing the webstore module to enrich the user experience. Some new features have recently been added to webstore including quantity breaks, a new "Add to Cart" button and a new system script.

Jade Revenue up over 36 Percent

Jade Software Corporation Limited today announced that it had achieved revenue growth in excess of 36 percent year on year for the first half of 2008.

Toronto's trains powered by Jade

A system developed by Jade software for passenger trains in Toronto, Canada, has gone live. Jade had been commissioned by multinational train manufacturer and rail logistics services giant Bombadier Transportation to develop, deploy and support the software to allow train controllers to schedule, monitor and crew Toronto's passenger trains.
