BPM Now in Beta Release!

BPM is more than just a new technology buzz word, it is a revolutionising business management approach used to map out processes within an organisation, providing a structure for visibility and efficiency thereby making sure everyone in the organisation is on the same page.

This feature rich module contains multi-streaming, embedded approvals and integration with other programs including MS Office. It also has the ability to define business rules and prioritise processes while utilising a highly versatile security structure. A critical aspect of any process is following through that tasks get done on a timely basis and Greentree's Escalation Engine can monitor and escalate tasks when necessary to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Greentree Outlook Email Integration

As the reliance on email has increased, so too the need to ensure the maintenance, archiving and access to these critical e-records electronically. Nowhere is this function more essential than in customer communication. Greentree Inbound Email is an enhanced CRM tool for email management that allows users to attach email messages to specific Greentree records, automatically from within Outlook. At the click of the mouse in Outlook, the user can file any email to any record within Greentree, even cross referencing an email against lots of different records. The user can then view the email from within Greentree by the click of a button on any record that the email was cross referenced with.

This new feature is available to all sites running Greentree CRM.

Inventory Labels

This enhancement enables the printing of inventory labels by request, including an integration feature with inventory receipting programs to support the automation of label printing upon receipt. >> Read more

Global Finance - Translations Module Released

This new addition to the Global Finance suite offers companies the ability to provide reporting of their Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss or complete ledger accounts in alternate currencies at a specified exchange rate or combination of rates. The reporting of currency rates has been enhanced to offer a greater variety of rates, including user defined rates. Ideal for companies that are required to report to parent companies in foreign currencies the translated information can be exported to Excel for further analysis or dispatch to the parent company. >> Read more

EDI Nears Release

This new module is drawing close to completion and will be released during May. We have now completed the technical package framework for inward and outward document management and have built support for a number of Greentree document types. Flexibility is a key facet of the software design and this is supported by the ability to map many different variations of a document type to a single document template and have many trading partner profiles apply to these. >> Read more

Greentree VBA Integration

Greentree becomes even more tightly integrated to Microsoft Office. This new functionality provides the ability to launch Greentree forms from Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, and from within Greentree to be able to switch the active window to an external application by just a click of a button.

This may prove to be of valuable use to automatically launch Excel from Greentree to be able to review financial reports and switch quickly back. When VBA Integration is enabled, a new menu item called VBA Integration Settings is available under the File menu.

NZ Postal Codes

This enhancement provides for the update of New Zealand postcode and city information in line with New Zealand Post standards. CSV import and template files have been included in this release for New Zealand postcodes, cities, towns and districts.

Greentree has provided sample Post Code import files for Australia, USA and New Zealand. These files are located in your Greentree Templates directory, within the PostCodes sub directory. The current templates directory has been updated for the revised New Zealand postcodes and city (state) import files so that new sites will automatically receive them.

Jade 6.2 and Vista Update

We have been working hard to complete certification for Greentree running on Jade 6.2 and this has been released. Within this upgrade are a number of key benefits and changes. Jade 6.2 provides support for the Windows Vista operating system and this will allow Greentree to certify for Vista also. Now that Greentree is released on Jade 6.2, our Vista certification will follow shortly behind. We know of a number of Greentree staff and customers already running Greentree on Vista, however, Certification status is achieved as a result of a rigorous testing program to ensure all facets of Greentree including FREE, ODBC, Microsoft Office integration, faxing, printing, web modules and many more aspects are thoroughly tested and found to operate without issue. We are well advanced on this certification testing and it has a high priority, so we will announce certification as soon as testing is successfully completed. >> Read more

The team at Greentree has been working hard on several other projects including Print & Task Queue enhancements, Clever Table launch to Microsoft Excel and Google maps and email/web hotlinks amongst many other product enhancements.

Users now have the ability to view an address in Google Maps in Greentree by just a click of a button. Another convenient and time saving enhancement is if there is an email address entered, clicking the Greentree icon on this field will automatically bring up a new email message from your email client.

Clever Table menus have been enhanced to include a new Launch to Screen option, and two new format types have been added to the Output to File menu option.

Would you like thousands more people to know about your business for FREE? We really appreciate customers going into print for us and hopefully they enjoy the benefit of publicising their business to thousands of Greentree's business partners, technology partners, customers and the wider market. Obviously if they are using Greentree they are a pretty switched on business to deal with. To give them more oomph, Greentree has re-designed the customer success stories, introducing more impactful colours and layout and made the story's front focus on business benefits and ROI. This section will serve to relate real tangible pain areas solved by Greentree. A good example is a recent customer story with Sellagence revealing some very measurable ROI.

Bigger Better Profile

You must all be familiar with iStart (www.istart.co.nz) by now? If not, let us remind you. iStart is a B2B marketing service that works for Greentree in several ways. Primarily, iStart is a web pavilion that hosts our customer case studies. But there's more...iStart also produces a monthly newsletter and a quarterly magazine aimed at decision makers and Greentree often features in these. Both are rated very highly by the business sector.

The good news is that iStart have recently launched with the same integrated model in Australia www.istart.com.au
The launch magazine included a case study on Technika. We'll keep you posted on market response but initial signs look good with positive feedback already received.

The annual Business Software Guide soon to be released across Australia is highly targeted and highly relevant to our market. As an action metaphor, we used the Green Dog to convey the message to readers to “unleash” their business with the help of Greentree. It’s memorable, smart and ‘about doing’, compared to our competition who go for the boring, corporate, same old look and feel.
