Pervasive Information Access
Greentree’s comprehensive Information and Reporting toolset has been designed with ‘extreme’ access as a fundamental principle. The design has been driven by our obsession for total accessibility meaning that Greentree provides access to your information far beyond the boundaries of traditional solutions.
Workflow with 3DLive
Built upon Greentree’s powerful Workflow designer, 3D Live populates one or more desktop panels with live information that is contextually relevant to the record being used at the time. For example, as a customer is selected when entering a Sales Order, the customer’s financial status, latest purchases, and key customer information are automatically displayed to assist the user. Likewise when selecting an Inventory item to sell, the items photo, specifications, location balances and cost and selling prices are displayed. The content of the 3D Live panels are completely user definable to allow you to present the right information at the right time to improve the productivity of your team and improve service to customers.
Drilling for “the good oil”
Greentree offers exceptional access to accurate, alive information by offering the ability to drill through and traverse information from anywhere within the product. For example, you can drill down from a customer enquiry to a specific invoice and from there across to the inventory item that was purchased and from the item across to a purchase order. Reports when viewed to screen can also be drilled into to examine the underlying data or source documents. With Greentree’s WebView this capability is extended right through to the web with user definable browser based enquiry, reporting, analysis and drill down.
Save the Trees!
Greentree offers a unique capability that allows you to manage your own information categories. Through the use of Greentree “Trees”, at both a master-file or transactional level, you can maintain unlimited and flexible ways of viewing information.
Transaction level Trees offer a whole range of new dimensions for tracking and reporting information without exploding the Chart of Accounts or Inventory Categories, e.g. analysing expenses by unit, cost of sales by inventory groupings through to all manner of analysis of sales.
Not only saving trees but delivering information quickly, Greentree’s eReporting module provides the means to automatically produce reports in Text, Adobe® PDF or HTML format and have these emailed or faxed rather than printed. This also allows reports to be scheduled and automatically run at a convenient regular time.
Any table of information presented in Greentree can also be exported to text file, or immediately launched into Microsoft Office Excel® making the reuse and analysis of information a snap.
Even Related Information
Any record held within the Greentree database can be linked to another, assisting users in easily finding other information that is pertinent to the record they are viewing. Creating links is a simple process, and as each link is created, you can add relevant notes.
Greentree allows unlimited external files, such as spreadsheets, scanned images, emails etc to be attached to any Greentree transaction. For example, supplier invoices or customer orders can be scanned and attached to the relevant Greentree record.
Business Analyst for Visual Impact
A graph can portray so much more than a page full of figures and Greentree’s built-in Business Analyst gives you this out of the box, providing “Operational Intelligence” as you do business.
Relevant graphical trend analysis is provided for most masterfiles including Suppliers, Customers, Assets, General Ledger accounts, Jobs and Inventory items. The supporting data is also provided in a table, where you can choose to include or exclude specific data series for graphical display.
A graph designer is also provided for performing queries and presenting graphs, for example; show me the 10 top selling inventory items last month, the customers with the highest overdue balances in the last 6 months, the sales year to date for customers belonging to a specified salesperson, and so on.
