Evolution
Greentree was founded by Don Bowman, evolving from a small team of developers in the late 1970s, into a well-established international software company. Our first major success was the award-winning CBA product, which was launched in 1983, and has now been sold to over 10,000 organisations. Don has remained at the helm of Greentree throughout this time and launched our flagship product, Greentree.
Greentree Launched
In early 1998, the company announced the development of Greentree, a new windows-based accounting software product, which would be completely developed from the "ground up" as a leading edge product. The development tool selected was JADE, a revolutionary object-orientated development and database product. Beta testing of Greentree had commenced in November 1998 and the release of the Greentree Financials suite was announced in October 1999.
Milestone after milestone
In mid 2002, Greentree International announced a significant milestone had been reached with more than 200 sites implemented across the region and the development of its core suites of Financials, Distribution, Job Cost and CRM and Service Management modules now complete. The company also announced the appointment of distributors for its products in USA, Canada and Europe.

Greentree International is now going from strength to strength. It has demonstrated its breadth and depth of functionality across a range of industry sectors in Australia, New Zealand, Asia-Pacific, UK and USA, and continues to attract dedicated Business Partners to augment its widespread Partner Network. Greentree continues to work closely with its customers providing new business functionality such as the release of Supply Chain Management, Payroll, Manufacturing, Web applications, and Point of Sale suites.
